Primate Elijah Ayodele warns APC may lose election in 2027

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has stirred fresh reactions after reportedly declaring that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) may no longer win Kwara State unless urgent steps are taken.

In a statement making the rounds on social media, the prophet was quoted as saying:

“APC will no longer win Kwara State, they need to do a lot of work there.”

The prophecy has raised eyebrows, especially given Ayodele’s track record of political warnings that often trend during election seasons. He has in the past cautioned APC about Lagos and other states, urging them not to take voter support for granted.

According to him, APC needs to do a lot of work in Kwara or the party may lose if it fails to act fast. Supporters of the prophecy argue that it reflects the mood of the people, while critics insist Ayodele thrives on sensational predictions.

Despite the mixed reactions, one fact remains: Kwara politics has always been unpredictable. From the fall of the Saraki dynasty in 2019 to APC’s dominance in recent elections, the state has a history of dramatic shifts.

Primate Ayodele’s latest warning has now sparked conversations about whether APC will retain its influence in Kwara or face an unexpected upset in future polls.
