“Prayer alone won’t get you a husband”— Man advice women to build themselves

A man has stirred debate online after calling out women who attend Shiloh every year to pray for husbands but fail to work on themselves.

He argued that praying alone, without improving attitude, fitness, or financial stability, will not attract a suitable partner.

“Prayer alone won’t get you a husband”

He said: “It’s only in Nigeria you would see a girl go to Shiloh to pray for a husband every year but they’re out of shame, very broke and have terrible attitude.”

The man added that focusing on self-improvement, character, and appearance is far more practical than expecting a husband to appear through prayer alone.

He believes women must take responsibility for their growth if they want to attract the right partner.

It’s just common sense. It’s like someone who has headache but you’re still hitting your head on the wall. That one no be madness? Shey na pastor go give you husband? Abi God go carry husband from heaven say ah, see your husband that I made for you specially. Mumu people.”

His remarks have since sparked conversations about the role of prayer, personal development, and accountability in relationships, with many social media users weighing in on the debate.
