Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has turned down a ₦1 million gift promised by crypto entrepreneur Blord, insisting he deserves something bigger.
In a viral video, Portable thanked Blord for promoting his song dedicated to social critic VeryDarkMan but said, “Blord, God bless you for promoting my song, but give me car. I’m more than ₦1 million. Give me car and you’ll be more famous. I support you.”
The singer, known for his dramatic outbursts, claimed that gifting him a car or ₦1 billion would bring Blord even more fame.
Blord’s offer sparks Portable’s demands
Blord had earlier promised to send ₦1 million to Portable for his recent musical shout-out. However, Portable dismissed the offer as “too small,” telling the businessman, “Give me one billion, I will appreciate you. I’m bigger than one million.”
The clip, which quickly circulated on X and Instagram, showed the singer pleading dramatically while cracking jokes, leaving fans torn between amusement and criticism.
Many social media users mocked Portable’s sense of entitlement, saying he was “asking for increase before seeing the money.”
