Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has revealed that he plans to go back to school and this time, it’s about taking control of his music career.
The Zazu singer explained that even though he already has an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, he feels further education will give him the tools to properly understand the business side of his career.
According to him, he wants to ensure his record label and music platforms are managed correctly, and that he doesn’t rely solely on others for guidance.
He said,
“Even though I already have an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, I still want to further my education so I can understand my music royalties and business deals better, especially for my record label, Zeh Nation.”
According to Portable, going back to school will help him manage is career and earnings his royalties the right way.
He added that this step is not just about certificates, but about learning how to run his music empire like a proper businessman.
