The Police Command in Niger says it has arrested two suspects for allegedly stealing two motorcycles in Minna.
This is contained in a statement by its Public Relations Officer, SP Wasiu Abiodun on Tuesday in Minna.
Abiodun said that on Sept. 9, at about 12p.m., based on credible information, police operatives attached to ‘A’ Division, Minna arrested a 23-year-old suspect in Fadikpe area with a sack containing motorcycle parts.
He stated that the suspect was intercepted in a tricycle with another suspect, who was allegedly helping him to move the parts to where they would be sold.
He alleged that the suspect had confessed to have stolen the two motorcycles from Fadikpe area and that he usually sell the parts at Sabon-Gari and Kasuwan-Gwari areas of Minna.
He said the suspects would be charged in court after police investigation. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
