Former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, has broken his silence on Donald Trump’s threat to invade Nigeria.
It would be recalled that in a recent post on Truth Social , Trump threatened to take action against Islamic terrorists responsible for the killings of Christians in Nigeria.

Additionally, Trump ordered the US Department of War to prepare for possible military action against Nigeria.
Peter Obi Reacts To Trump’s Threat
In a lengthy post on X (formerly Twitter), Peter Obi condemned the killings of Christians, emphasizing the need for intervention.
He also criticized the APC government for lacking competence, commitment, and patriotism in governing Nigeria, adding that Trump’s threat is a concern for all well-meaning Nigerians.

The recent pronouncement by the US government declaring Nigeria a ‘Country of Particular Concern’ (CPC) and indicating possible military action should give every well-meaning Nigerian serious concern.
Over 10,000 people have been killed in Nigeria since May 2023 and as I have repeatedly lamented, the unwarranted.
While the insecurity did not start with the present government, what is most unfortunate is the lack and absence of competence, commitment, prudent use of resources, patriotism and passion on the part of APC APC-led government.
