Nigerian socialite Shina Peller has gone viral after surprising a police officer with ₦200,000 just because the officer gave him ₦500.
The incident, which was captured in a trending clip, showed Peller jokingly asking the officer if he could spare him some money.
The officer, identified as Mr Isaac, reached for his pocket and handed Peller a ₦500 note, telling him it was from the heart.
Peller, visibly touched by the rare gesture, praised him for breaking stereotypes about police officers only collecting bribes.
Moments later, Peller asked Mr Isaac to call out his account number. To the amazement of everyone present, he credited him with ₦200,000 instantly, stressing that good officers also deserve recognition.

Peller’s action has been hailed as a lesson in generosity and encouragement. According to him, people often highlight only the negative side of the police, but small acts of kindness like Mr Isaac’s deserve to be appreciated.
He noted that while many Nigerians complain about extortion from law enforcement officers, it is important to show support when officers act with sincerity.
His words, “It’s only the bad way of police una dey see, see police give me 500 naira. Thank you, I love you sir. I’ll double it for you,” have since sparked widespread reactions.
