A pastor who had been living in his car with his family for two years has received a life-changing blessing after a stranger helped him raise more than $300,000 to get them back on their feet.
In a video now going viral on TikTok, a man named @JimmyDarts, known for his random acts of kindness, approached Pastor Will in a mall parking lot. As part of his usual videos, Jimmy asked him for help to see if he would respond with kindness.
When he approached the pastor, the man immediately said, “I know who you are.” He then called his wife down from the car, and the two began talking. The pastor explained that he recognized Jimmy from his videos online and that God had been lead him to him recently.
He shared that he, his wife, their child, and their pet had been living in their car for two years after falling on hard times.
The pastor said:
“I know God is real. I’m not gonna lie… I know who you are. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. I know you’re real, Jesus.”
Deeply moved by the pastor’s honesty and faith, Jimmy handed him $1,000 on the spot and encouraged him to keep trusting God. Later, Jimmy posted the emotional encounter on social media, inviting his followers to support the family.
Within just 48 hours, the video went viral, and donations began pouring in. More than $382,000 has been raised to help the pastor and his family find a new home and start fresh.
What began as a simple act of seeking kindness turned into a powerful reminder of faith, compassion, and the life-changing impact of generosity.
