Prophetess Sommy, head pastor of Glorious Manifestation Ministry, has taken to social media to call out members of her church over what she described as a lack of support and concern for her wellbeing.
In a video circulating online, the prophetess expressed frustration that members allegedly show more interest in contributing to the building of the church altar than supporting her personal needs.
She questioned why members who benefit from her prayers and deliverance rarely show concern for her welfare.
“From year to year we do not collect prophet offering. The only thing that concerns you is building of altar, but anything that concerns your woman of God, you people will not show interest,” she stated.
Prophetess Sommy also revealed that only two people supported her during her birthday celebration, adding that she has been struggling with her health while continuing to conduct fasting and deliverance sessions.
She further complained about receiving only two bags of rice and claimed that members do not even provide her with money for data despite her work in the church.
“Only two people donated for my birthday. I’ve dried up where I have been doing fasting and I keep taking medication. It’s a very wicked thing to do. I received only two bags of rice and I will not cook it with my money. Even common data, you don’t give me. I have broken my legs where I’m conducting deliverance,” she added.
Her comments have sparked reactions online, with social media users discussing her concerns about the expectations placed on church leaders and the support they receive from members.
