An old video of Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita Daniels, has resurfaced online, contradicting her earlier claim of marrying billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko at 17.
Earlier, Regina Daniels claimed she married Ned Nwoko at 17, while responding to his claim about her involvement with drugs.
Additionally, Ned Nwoko accused Regina’s brother, Sammy, currently in detention, of harassing his children and domestic staff, mostly during his abscence.
Regina Daniels Mother Confirms Her Daughter’s Age Marriage To Ned Nwoko
In the resurfaced BBC interview, Rita Daniels revealed Regina was nearly 20 when she married Ned Nwoko and addressed criticism over their marriage.
According to Rita Daniels, her daughter informed her she wanted to marry at a young age, and claimed Regina was in love with Ned Nwoko.
It would be recalled that Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko traditionally tied the knot on June 20, 2019, in Asagba, Delta State.
Notably, the couple is embroiled in a messy dispute, with Ned Nwoko claiming he bought Regina a house in Asaba, Delta state, and placed her family members on monthly allowances.
According to Ned, he has an estimated transfer of ₦125 million to Rita Daniels in the last two years.
Ned Nwoko’s claims follow allegations by Regina’s brother, Sweezzy, regarding the circumstances of his son’s death.
In a series of Instagram posts, Sweezzy alleged that Ned Nwoko’s son died from a heart seizure and failure due to excessive drug intake.
