This follows amid condolences and tributes over the demise of ARISE TV presenter and anchor, Somtochukwu Maduagwu, who tragically passed away on September 29, 2025, after an armed robbery attack at her Abuja residence.
Old prophecy of Primate Elijah Ayodele emerges
In a prophecy released on December 20, 2024, Primate Elijah Ayodele called for prayers over journalists, warning of potential dangers.
Furthermore, the clergyman urged journalists from ARISE News to exercise caution in their reporting, particularly when dealing with political leaders.
“Let’s pray for them because life only has one. They should reduce that attack that is coming from Arise News . You are there to broadcast the news but not to challenge people”, He firmly stated.
The clergyman urged journalist of Arise News, whose name weren’t disclosed, to exercise caution in reporting, noting that there are individuals outside the studio who may pose a threat to their lives.
In a recent development, a fresh update about the circumstances surrounding Somtochukwu Maduagwu’s demise has emerged online.
According to Arise TV’s latest report, the robbery attack occurred on Monday around 3 am, and the deceased’s relatives claim she passed away due to delayed medical treatment.
