Bawa-Bodinga, while inaugurating the project on Friday, said the initiative was meant to enhance community policing and strengthen security presence in the area.

He commended the Na’ibawa Eastern Bypass community leadership, led by Mr Abubakar Ibrahim-Diso, for constructing the edifice, calling for continuous collaboration between residents and NSCDC for effective service delivery.
Bawa-Bodinga assured the community of 24 hours surveillance and patrols by the newly established rapid response team (RRT), adding that the corps remained committed to safeguarding lives and property.
The commandant also cautioned NSCDC personnel against corruption and human rights violations, while calling for strict adherence to the corps’ professional ethics and core mandates.
In his remarks, the community chairman, Mr Diso, pledged sustained support and cooperation for the corps to discharge their mandate.
