“A Spark in the Dark”, a romantic Nollywood movie, is set for release in cinemas nationwide on April 24, its producers have announced.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that ace filmmaker and producer of the captivating drama, Dolly Nwaduba, made the announcement in a post on her verified Instagram page-@dollynwaduba.

The intriguing story “A Spark in the Dark” explores interpersonal dynamics, particularly friendships and some romantic relationships, through its central character.
The plot delves into the life of a character, Kate, who seems to have it all—a joyful, fulfilling life, a man she deeply loves, a career she’s passionate about, and a best friend.
However, soon after her engagement, a devastating tragedy strikes, unravelling everything she once believed in and dreamed of.
The star-studded movie is directed by Akay Mason, featuring Venita Akpofure, Daniel Etim Effiong, Eso Dike, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Gideọn Okeke.
Other cast include Somto Eze, Tope Olowoniyan, Sandra Iroegbu,and Emeka Okoye, among others.
