According to a report by Daily Post, on Tuesday March 3, 2026, Representatives member from Kaduna North and son of former governor Nasir El-Rufai, has vowed to strongly defend his father, Nasir El-Rufai, amid the ongoing controversy involving the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.
The Kaduna North lawmaker said he would not allow what he described as a media attack against his father to stand, he made it clear that he is ready to respond to any report or statement that he believes is false.
According to him, no public campaign aimed at damaging his father’s image would succeed as long as he remains active and vigilant and stressed that he would challenge any claim he considers untrue at any time of the day.
He said he is prepared to counter such narratives repeatedly, in his view, truth and facts must guide public discussions, especially when serious allegations are involved.
He warned that if the anti-corruption agency releases what he believes to be another false report, he would make public evidence to defend his father, he said he possesses photographs of items taken from the house during the raid.
He claimed the materials were documented by an agent involved in the operation and argued that the records in his possession would show exactly what was removed from the residence.
He suggested that such proof would contradict any misleading claims and maintained that transparency is important and that he is ready to share details if necessary.
“No media campaign against my father will succeed as long as I am around by the grace of God. I will counter it day and night. If they had lied again. I would have posted the pictures of everything they illegally took from Mallam’s house in the horrible handwriting of their own agent. Thanks,” he said.See_More…
