Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has turned recent criticism into a movement for body confidence by announcing a social media contest to celebrate women with big stomachs.
Nkechi Blessing became a trending topic after a leaked gym photo of her went viral, drawing harsh body-shaming remarks from critics and trolls online.
Rather than retreat, the actress decided to reclaim the narrative by championing body positivity.
The ‘big belle’ challenge
In a post on Instagram, Nkechi unveiled the big belle challenge, promising a cash prize of ₦1 million to the participant with the largest stomach.
She explained that contestants should share pictures of their bellies, tag her, and use the hashtag #bigbellechallenge. The top three entries will be reposted before a winner is selected.
