Nigerians owe Tinubu gratitude, says Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has attributed the recent infrastructural achievements in Abuja to the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking at the commissioning of newly completed access roads in Sector Centre B, Dakibiyu District, on Tuesday, Wike said Tinubu’s guidance has been instrumental in driving visible progress across the capital city.

Wike noted that the administration’s development agenda for the FCT is being achieved because of what he described as Tinubu’s “right leadership and focus.”

According to him, the pace of road projects, housing initiatives, and public works under the current government demonstrates that strong leadership can deliver rapid transformation.

He added that the FCT Administration remains committed to sustaining this momentum, ensuring every part of Abuja benefits from the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Leadership as key to visible transformation

Highlighting the role of leadership in achieving national growth, Wike said Tinubu’s influence has changed the pace and quality of governance in the FCT.

When you have the right leadership, you can achieve unexpected results,” he said, praising the President for creating an environment where projects are executed efficiently.

The Minister further revealed that the completion of the Sector Centre B access roads is just one among several developments soon to be unveiled, including the Court of Appeal Division scheduled for inauguration by the President.

He stressed that the FCT’s current trajectory proves that effective leadership and political will can transform long-neglected areas into functional and modern communities.

Nigerians owe a lot to the President, says Wike

Wike urged Nigerians to appreciate the President for his commitment to infrastructural renewal and national progress.

According to him, while criticism is inevitable in governance, the results of Tinubu’s administration speak for themselves.

He said, “Nigerians owe a lot to the President.Yes, tongues will wag, but when you are focused, you will achieve results.” Wike described Tinubu as a visionary leader whose decisions have restored confidence in public service delivery.

Concluding his remarks, the FCT Minister called on citizens to support the administration’s ongoing reforms, noting that continued collaboration between the federal government and local authorities would ensure sustainable development across the capital city.
