Erika Kirk was announced as the new CEO of Turning Point USA on September 18, 2025, after being unanimously elected by the board.
According to Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk had expressed to multiple executives his wish for his wife, Erika Kirk, to succeed him as CEO in the event of his death.
Charlie Kirk’s Suspected Killer Identifed
In a recent development, the suspected killer of Charlie Kirk has been identified as 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson.
He has been charged with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and committing a violent offense in the presence of a child.
Donald Trump Honors Charlie Kirk
Notably, Charlie Kirk was a close ally of President Donald Trump, who has honored him following his tragic passing.
After Kirk’s assassination, Trump announced that he would posthumously award Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.
