All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has declared that the party is fully prepared to challenge the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and reclaim the Plateau State governorship in 2027.
Nentawe made the statement in Jos on Sunday during a reception organised for a fresh wave of defectors from the PDP, Labour Party, PRP and NNPP.
He said the steady stream of new entrants reflects growing public confidence in the APC’s leadership and direction.
“These defections prove that more people now believe in our direction and leadership,” he said.
The APC chairman explained that the party has been restructuring its internal organs, expanding its membership base and strengthening collaboration across all levels in the state.
According to him, the APC is not only targeting legislative gains but is committed to taking back the governorship seat in the next election cycle.
He added that the party will continue to welcome new members ready to contribute to its success.
Nentawe also urged members to remain focused, united and active in grassroots mobilisation as preparations intensify ahead of 2027.
