According to the Anadolu Agency, the humanitarian toll of the ongoing conflict between Iran, the United States, and Israel is mounting. On Sunday, the Iranian Red Crescent reported that nearly 10,000 civilian buildings have been damaged in the recent airstrikes, including homes, schools, and medical facilities.
According to the organization, 7,943 residential units and 1,617 commercial buildings were hit. In addition, 32 medical centers and 65 schools suffered damage, while 13 Red Crescent centers, 15 operational vehicles, and 13 ambulances were also affected. Eleven medical personnel were killed and 33 others injured.
“These attacks have hit civilians and those trying to help them,” the Red Crescent said, highlighting the human cost of the ongoing hostilities.
The strikes follow a wave of US-Israeli operations that have already killed more than 1,200 people since February 28, including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and senior military officials. In response, Tehran has launched missile and drone attacks targeting Israel and US bases in the Gulf.
Residents across Iran describe a climate of fear and uncertainty, as essential services struggle to operate amid the destruction. The Red Crescent said restoring medical care and aid has become increasingly difficult as attacks continue.
The report underscores the growing humanitarian crisis in Iran and has drawn international concern. Aid groups warn that without urgent efforts to protect civilians and repair infrastructure, ordinary people will continue to bear the brunt of a conflict that shows no signs of slowing.See_More…
