The Nigerian Navy has released the official portrait of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas.
In a statement signed by Commodore A. Adams-Aliu, Director of Information, the Navy urged all media organisations and the general public to make use of the official portrait whenever the need arises.
The statement also commended the media for their continued cooperation, accurate reportage, and balanced coverage of the Nigerian Navy’s operations and activities.
“Attached to this statement is the official portrait of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas. All media organisations are requested to use this as the need arises. The Nigerian Navy appreciates the media for their continued support, accurate reporting, and balanced coverage of our operations,” the statement read.
It added that the service remains committed to fostering mutual understanding and collaboration with the media in promoting national security and maritime safety.
