The President of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Afeez Akinteye, has appointed former Chief of Staff, NANS JCC Oyo Axis, Comr. Adeleke Samuel, also known as Brendan, as the National Director of Students Development at NANS National Headquarters.
Speaking with journalists in Ibadan on Thursday, Adeleke thanked the NANS President for the opportunity and described the appointment as a call to greater service and accountability.
He also appreciated the Senior Special Assistant to the Oyo State Governor on Students’ Affairs, Victor Olojede, for his nomination and support.
The new National Director pledged to work with NANS leadership to drive programmes on academic excellence, leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and student welfare nationwide.
“I reaffirm my resolve to champion policies that will positively impact Nigerian students. My tenure will be guided by transparency, inclusiveness, and purposeful service,” he said.
