The National Agenda for Tinubu 2027, a Think-Tank and non -governmental organization, which first mooted the conceptual idea of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR,, has made a formal presentation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, justifying why, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, former National Chairman All Progressives Congress, should be officially named as the Director -General of the 2027 Presidential Campaign Council for the re-election of the President.
NAFT.2027 anchored its position on a number of cogent and verifiable reasons, which define the necessity for having a well-groomed intellectual icon, scholar, grassroots- politician, grassroots interests aggregation expert and one-time Local Government Council boss, who understands the political dynamics of both the Northern and Southern Nigeria as well as knowing the sociology of the voting -behaviour of both Northern and Southern Nigeria, including their responses to stimuli.
In a media statement issued and signed by the National Convener, National Agenda For Tinubu 2027 {NAFT.2027}, Dr Aliyu Ibrahim MFR, a topnotch member of the All Progressives Congress {APC}, political scientist and public affairs commentator, the Pioneer Intellectual Property Think-Tank and non-governmental organization, explained that Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje PhD, having piloted the affairs of the All Progressives Congress to stability, since 2023 to 2025, was able to pioneer the establishment of THE ALL PROGRESSIVES TRAINING INSTITUTE, Abuja, amongst other notable achievements and party reforms.
Dr Aliyu Ibrahim, MFR, further pointed out that it was Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje PhD, who first encouraged the concept of Executive Governors from the opposition parties, opting volitionally to join the All Progressives Congress fold as the political party that offer them their desired aspirations in political leadership aspirations.
He therefore explained that having Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje PhD as the Director -General of 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, would not make the victory song easier but provide a seamless campaign drive for the successes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and strengthen the winning streak for the APC
The group appealed to the president, pointing out that, using his uncommon wisdom to name Dr. Ganduje as the DG of Presidential Campaign Council,ahead of the 2027 Presidential Polls, will further consolidate the long practiced tradition of the APC when having president from Southern Nigeria, the DG of the Campaign, ostensibly, comes from Northern Nigeria. Apart from Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, no other known political leadership figure, in the North, has the political outreach,sagacity and contact profiles from the northern geographical zone, with overwhelming influence, across all the 36 States of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, other than Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
