The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its air campaigns against hostile actors with multiple coordinated missions across Kakihun, Oke-ode, Babanla, and environs in Kwara State.
The operations, executed on 28 September 2025, involved reconnaissance, close air support, and surveillance flights. Hostile groups east of Babanla were decisively neutralized, according to official reports.
Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, NAF spokesperson, confirmed: “These missions reaffirm our commitment to protecting troops and civilians, maintaining air superiority, and sustaining pressure on hostile actors. All operations were completed successfully.”
The Air Force called on citizens to remain vigilant and supportive of ongoing efforts aimed at securing peace and stability across the country.
