A Nigerian mother has stirred emotions online after sharing her struggles despite having a child living abroad.
In a viral video, the woman lamented the challenges she faces daily while trying to make ends meet in Nigeria. According to her, people often assume that having a child abroad means life automatically becomes easy for parents back home, but her experience has proven otherwise.
“My pikin dey abroad, na all these things we dey face make una see ooo. E no easy. Outside country you no go understand wetin we dey go through,” she said while showing the rough condition of her work environment.
She further explained that she and other workers were labouring at an unfinished site, stressing how survival in Nigeria is far from rosy.
The woman’s video has since gone viral, with many Nigerians sympathizing with her while others shared similar experiences of hardship
