“Marry many wives like Ned Nwoko” — Gehgeh tells men, says polygamy protects the heart

Social media influencer, Gehgeh, has stirred controversy online after advising men to adopt polygamy as a lifestyle, citing Senator Ned Nwoko as an example.

In a viral video, Gehgeh argued that having multiple wives gives men “options” and emotional security, claiming that “nobody can hurt you if you have options.”

He went further to suggest that Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, one of Nwoko’s wives, might be struggling emotionally, saying, “Regina dey one place now dey cry.”

“Polygamy Protects a Man’s Heart,” Says Gehgeh

According to Gehgeh, polygamy is a practical way for men to protect their hearts from emotional pain.

He stated that in relationships where a man has several partners, losing one wife wouldn’t hurt as much because “you have plenty things, and if one no dey work, you discard am.”

The influencer’s comments, though controversial, have drawn mixed reactions from fans and critics who accused him of seeking attention through provocative statements.

Social media users react to Gehgeh’s comment

While some criticised Gehgeh for being “insensitive and attention-seeking,” others supported his viewpoint, saying polygamy aligns with African traditions.

One user wrote, “He’s right. Ned Nwoko embraces our forefathers’ ways and stands strong as a polygamist.”

Another countered, “Gehgeh always talking trash just to chase engagement. This isn’t wisdom, it’s noise.”
