A user on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) reacts as a man he sent ₦2.2 million, after sliding into his Direct Message (DM), squanders the money on Betking
The user identified as Morris Monye shared the reason behind his generous gesture to the man.
Man squanders ₦2.2M on betting
According to Morris Monye, the man, whose identity wasn’t disclosed, revealed that he needed the money for business support and opened up about his wife’s Cesarean Section (CS) birth.
However, he sent the man the money earlier requested with plans to follow up with additional support.
The influencer revealed that the man squandered the entire amount on Betking and sent a screenshot of his bank statement as proof.
According to Morris Monye, the man has been handed over to security operatives.
His post included a screenshot of a WhatsApp chat where the man confessed to lying to his wife about using the money to purchase land.
In the chat, the man admitted his addiction to betting and revealed he had already confessed to his wife.
The chat revealed that the influencer sent a total of ₦2,239,000 million to the man.
