The man, identified as @Olamilekan disclosed this in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter).

Although, the exact amount wasn’t disclosed in the post.
His tweet reads, “Almighty Allah wil bless this opay for me. Werey collect transport money, block me. E sweet my belle😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂”.

It would be recalled that the Rivers State Police Command warned that collecting transport fare without intending to fulfill the agreed meeting is considered a criminal offense, classified as ‘obtaining money under false pretenses’.
This follows a recent incident where a lady, Jennifer was ordered to pay ₦450,000 in damages to a man after collecting ₦50,000 in transport fare and failing to show up as agreed.
The court ruled in favor of the man, Emmanuel, citing Jennifer’s actions as deception and financial exploitation.
Jennifer claimed she didn’t intend to deceive Emmanuel, stating that the transport fare wasn’t sufficient for her travel from Asaba to Abuja.
