A young Nigerian man has made headlines after gaining admission to the University of Calabar (UNICAL) after eight years.
The man, Ezebike Chinbuenyim shared details of his admission to the prestigious university in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter).
Details Of The Post
According to a screenshot attached to the post, the man was offered a 4-year first-degree programme in Cybersecurity at the Faculty of Science.
The screenshot revealed he was offered admission on October 29, 2025.
The admission offer reads, “Congratulations Ezebike Chinbuenyim Emmanuel. You have been offered admission for a 4-year degree programme in university of calabar, Cross River state. Course: Cyber security in Faculty of science”.
His revelation came after popular crypto influencer, Mr. Banks announced a giveaway of 4 Lenovo ThinkPad laptops.
Under the post’s comment section, the man tweeted, “I just got admission to study cyber security after looking admission for 8 years “.
In a follow-up tweet, the man expressed gratitude over support on his admission tweet.
