A Nigerian man has taken to social media to cry for help after alleging that a man, identified as an “honourable,” vandalised his car and physically assaulted him with the alleged help of security officers.
Man recounts incident
In an emotional video shared online, the man explained that the altercation began after the alleged official accused him of reckless driving.
He claimed that despite not hitting the man’s vehicle, the individual got down from his car, damaged his wiper and bonnet, and later called in naval officers who also assaulted him.

Embattled man calls for help
The distressed motorist further stated that he has video evidence of the incident and appealed to Nigerians, including activist VeryDarkMan, to intervene in the matter.
The video has since gone viral on social media, sparking outrage among Nigerians who condemned the reported abuse of power and called for an investigation into the incident.
His words in part …
“Nigerians make Una help me, VDM help me. I’m in my car right now and a man just claimed to be a somebody and just came down from his vehicle and stated that I drove rubbish and damaged my car. I didn’t even hit him. He spoilt my wiper and my bonnet. I have a video evidence. They said he is an honourable and he called a naval officer or something and they came and they also started beating me. If I had done something wrong then let’s take this up.”
