Madonna, Shakira & BTS to Headline 2026 FIFA World Cup final

FIFA has announced an exciting lineup for the first halftime show at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, promising a global music event that could rival the Super Bowl.

On July 19, 2026, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey will host the tournament final, where pop icon Madonna, Latin superstar Shakira, and K-pop group BTS will share the stage as co-headliners.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin is curating the show, produced with Global Citizen. The goal is to raise money for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which helps provide quality education and football opportunities for children around the world.

For the first time in World Cup history, there will be a special halftime show designed to entertain the huge worldwide audience.

Shakira is also playing a big role in the tournament’s soundtrack. She has teamed up with Nigerian star Burna Boy for the official anthem, “Dai Dai.” The song mixes Latin rhythms, Afrobeats, and crowd chants, and is expected to be the tournament’s standout track. Released today, it continues Shakira’s World Cup tradition after hits like “Waka Waka.”

The opening ceremonies will take place in all three host countries, making the musical celebration even bigger. In Mexico City, Estadio Azteca will host Maná, Alejandro Fernández, J Balvin, Tyla, and others. Toronto will feature Michael Bublé and Alanis Morissette, while Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium will have performances by Katy Perry, LISA from BLACKPINK, Anitta, Future, Rema, and Tyla
