Newly sworn-in lawyer has shared how she spent nearly N2M during her call-to-bar ceremony.
It would be recalled that 4,437 new lawyers were called to the Nigerian Bar from September 23 to September 25.
At the event, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, Chairman of the Body of Benchers, cautioned them against professional misconduct, stressing the nobility of the legal profession and the imperative of ethical conduct

The lady identified as GirlIsPosh on the video sharing platform, TikTok shared expenses that resulted in the exorbitant amount.
According to @GirlIsPosh, she spent N1,945,000 during the call-to-bar ceremony, revealing her outfit cost N80,000 , a discounted price.
Offering further details, she revealed that her mother and grandmother’s outfits, who were present at the event, cost 70,000 naira.
Speaking about the customs that aligned with her outfit, she revealed her nails cost N30,000 and her shoes were N52,500.
Regarding her hairstyle, @GirlIsPosh disclosed it cost N185,000, with styling priced at N65,000, commending her hairstylist for an excellent work.
About her makeup, she stated, “My make-up cost N80,000, which was also discounted because my location was quite a distance”.
According to her, she flew by flight to the event, which cost her the sum of N225,000, including her lodge in Abuja, which cost her N160,000 for five nights.
