The Janazah for the late former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, will hold at 4:00 p.m. today at his residence located along Air Force Road, Oloje Estate, Ilorin.
NAIJAONPOINT reports that the former Vice-Chancellor who was until his demise, the Chairman Governing Council of the Kwara State University, Malete died at the early hours of Saturday after a brief illness.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor of UNILORIN, Prof. Wahab Egbewole SAN, described the death of Prof. Ambali, as a huge loss not only to the University of Ilorin and the Kwara State University, Malete, which he currently serves as Pro-Chancellor but also to the entire nation and humanity.
Prof. Egbewole, who has sympathised with the family of the great scholar and the people of the Ilorin Emirate, enjoined sympathisers, particularly members of the UNILORIN community to attend the Janazah for the late ex-Vice Chancellor.
