The screenshots of the chat are accompanied by a heartfelt tribute to Somtochukwu, describing her as a cheerful lady who always reached out to everyone and sent funny stickers to make people feel welcome.

In a recent development, Arise News has shared fresh details on the circumstances surrounding the tragic passing of its staff, Somtochukwu Maduagwu.

According to the fresh report, the tragic incident occurred around 3 am on Monday, September 29, 2025.

According to the report, the security personnel reached out to the police during the robbery, but didn’t get no response.

However, Somtochukwu and the security guard were rushed to Maitama District Hospital, where they tragically passed away.

According to the deceased’s relatives, they passed away due to delayed medical treatment, with hospital staff demanding identification documents.

Amid mourning over Somtochukwu’s demise, her social media posts have surfaced online.
