The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSA) has launched an online recruitment exercise for Neighbourhood Safety Officers across all local government areas of the state. The announcement was made on the agency’s official website, which outlined the positions, requirements, and application process.
The recruitment targets full-time Group B officers, with applicants required to have at least an SSCE/WAEC qualification, be aged between 18 and 30, physically fit, and possess a clean criminal record. Interested candidates must complete the online application form and submit the necessary documents through the LNSA recruitment portal.
Successful applicants will undergo screening tests and interviews, followed by onboarding into the agency. The exercise comes after Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu approved the hiring of new officers to bolster the Corps’ operational capacity and enhance community-level security, particularly around public schools.
Ifalade Oyekan, General Manager of the LNSA, said the recruitment aligns with the state government’s commitment to ensuring a safer environment for residents. The agency encouraged eligible youths and residents to take advantage of the opportunity.
