A Nigerian lady identified as Shirley has gone viral on TikTok after sharing how her late-night praise session during the popular Hallelujah Challenge landed her in trouble with her neighbours.
The Hallelujah Challenge is a virtual prayer and praise program hosted by gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey, where Christians gather online at midnight to sing, dance, and pray.
Neighbours Interrupt Praise Session
In the video posted by Shirley (@shirleyjcksn), she and her roommates were seen energetically dancing and singing during the session.
The atmosphere was filled with joy until their celebration was suddenly interrupted by the sound of the doorbell.
According to her, the unexpected visit threw everyone into panic as they ran around trying to quiet down.

Sharing the clip, Shirley captioned it: “POV: When the Hallelujah Challenge praises are too good and got us in trouble with the neighbours. Day 7 and we already in trouble, but we go finish it by force by fire.”
Her statement sparked laughter online as many viewers related to the struggle of worshipping passionately at midnight without disturbing others.

Despite the incident, Shirley insists she won’t stop. Even with the “trouble,” she said she’s determined to finishing the praise sessions “by force, by fire.”
