A Nigerian lady has shared the messages she received from her ex-husband after summoning the courage to leave him.
According to the lady, her ex-husband allegedly subjected her to abuse and infidelity during their marriage.
After relocating abroad and ending their marriage, she began receiving messages from him that criticized her decisions and intentions.
The messages, which the lady shared on TikTok under the handle @binyelum24, accused her of using him for personal gain.
He claimed she changed after moving to the UK, gaining wealth and leaving him.
In his words: “You have moved on because you are in UK and that’s the reason for all this. If you are in Nigeria, there is no way you will be saying all these things… You married me to achieve your personal goals and then leave… all you can think now is to leave because you have gotten what you wanted.”
Lady Expresses Relief and Encouragement to Women
While posting the chat, the lady recounted her experiences with her ex-husband, describing that period as the hardest phase of her life.
She expressed relief at having left the relationship and urged women to know their worth.
