Social media is buzzing after a lady shared a heartbreaking message she received from her ex-boyfriend, who is now married.
In the viral video shared by @Teniola on X (formerly Twitter), the lady posted a beautiful photo of herself on her WhatsApp status, but the married ex doesn’t seem comfortable with it.
He reportedly told her that she is “fading every day” and reminded her not to forget that she is “a woman.” According to her, the message was sent to torment her and reopen old wounds.
He went further to advise her to settle down if she finds someone she loves, saying that “no one is perfect” and she shouldn’t wait for the perfect man since “even you aren’t perfect.”
The message left the lady emotional, but she gave him an epic response to shut him out, prompting an outpouring of love from social media users.
Many condemned the ex for reaching out despite being married, calling his message manipulative and disrespectful. Others, however, argued that his words, though harsh, contained some truth about love, timing, and life’s realities.
The viral exchange has reignited conversations about emotional closure, boundaries in marriage, and the lingering connections that often follow failed relationships.
