Lady welcomes a surprise baby boy after she was rushed to the hospital for a suspected appendicitis.
Megan was rushed to Blackburn Hospital after experiencing intense pain in her right side and vomiting bloo.d. Doctors, suspecting appendicitis, immediately ordered ultrasound and CT scans.

However, to their astonishment, the scans revealed not an inflamed appendix but a baby, with a tiny head and foot visible. This came as a shock to Megan, who had taken a pregnancy test just days earlier that returned negative.
She was quickly transferred to Burnley Hospital, but before reaching the facility, she delivered her baby boy, Jaxson, who weighed 4.6 lbs, on September 9.

Isherwood, who hails from Blackburn, Lancs, said:
“I was speechless — I couldn’t believe what had just happened.
“I had no bump, no symptoms at all, he just came out of nowhere.
“I wouldn’t change anything for it other than I wish Jaxson had let me know that he was around before he was born.
“He is a miracle.”
Illness turns to surprise delivery
On the day of the unexpected birth, Isherwood woke up around 4 p.m. feeling unwell and asked her friend, 26-year-old Gabbie Rose, to bring her a bottle of Coke, believing her blood sugar had dropped.
Isherwood said …
“When Gabbie arrived, she told me I looked terrible as I was hunched over and that I needed to go to the hospital.
“I have a high pain threshold, so she knew I had something wrong with me.”
Gabbie quickly dialed 111, and within an hour an ambulance arrived. Paramedics assessed Isherwood and initially suspected appendicitis, given the sharp pain on her right side, her elevated heart rate, and persistent nausea.
She was taken to Blackburn Hospital, arriving around 5:30 p.m., where she was admitted to the intensive care unit. While waiting to be examined, she suddenly began bleeding heavily, soaking the bed.
Medical staff rushed her into a separate room, where about 15 doctors gathered in an urgent bid to determine the cause of her condition.
She said …
“They decided to do a CT scan as well as an ultrasound to rule out pregnancy but that was when they found a head and a foot.
“They then blue-lighted me to Burnley hospital as they have a midwifery.
“On the way there the paramedic said to me if I need to push just let them know and push hard.
“As soon as she said that, it was like something clicked and I just needed to push.
“The next thing you know they told me ‘congratulations it is a boy’.
I was so shocked and flustered, I couldn’t believe what had just happened.”
Jackson’s arrival
Jaxson arrived prematurely at 33 weeks, and only minutes after birth, he turned blue and stopped breathing. Fortunately, paramedics were able to resuscitate him before reaching the hospital.
The newborn was immediately admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, while Isherwood was taken to the birth suite and later moved to a private room in the postnatal ward.
Doctors informed her that both she and her baby were battling infections and diagnosed them with sepsis. They were placed on antibiotics and eventually made a full recovery.
However, just days later, Jaxson stopped breathing again but was successfully revived by doctors.
