A Nigerian lady has made headlines after vowing not to eat until she meets the viral naval officer, Lieutenant Yamari, who clashed with FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
The lady, identified as Maryam Kenechi, disclosed this in a Facebook post that has gone viral online.

In her post, Maryam Kenechi described Lieutenant Yamari her husband-to-be, openly expressing her love for the naval officer.
“I no go chop till I speak with my officer, my husband‑to‑be. What is food, eeh?” ... reads.
Notably, Lieutenant Yamari has been making headlines after his heated clash with Nyesom Wike.
The incident occured on November 11, 2025, in Gaduwa District, Abuja.
Meanwhile, Nyesom Wike has broken silence on his clash with with the naval officer.
He emphasized that the FCT administration operates by law, not sentiment, and that he will not be intimidated by anyone.
Furthermore, the minister clarified that the clip in which he called the naval officer a ‘fool’ was taken out of context.
“I have reached out to the Chief of Defence Staff and the Chief of Naval Staff, who assured me the matter will be handled peacefully, and I urge journalists to report the facts accurately,” He stated.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Yamari is yet to address his clash with Nyesom Wike.
