A video showing a Nigerian lady praying over an owl that had entered her apartment has gone viral on social media.
She reportedly woke up to discover the owl perched on her generator.
Lady bursts into prayers
Upon sighting the nocturnal animal, she immediately burst into a stream of prayers, assuming that the bird was a sort of witch.
Reacting swiftly, she launched into prayer, shouting “Holy Ghost Fire” and declaring that the owl had been “arrested” by God.
The owl made an attempt to fly away from her, but ended up hitting its body on the wall, perching on her trash can.
She called on someone to get something for her so she could use it on the owl and eliminate it from her house swiftly.
Public reactions..
Some netizens have opined that she was simply overreacting, insisting that the owl was just a harmless bird.
Others have however opined that there is nothing ordinary about an owl being in a person’s house, just of out the blue.
One ralph_newrevolution said: “Believe it or not some of these things are not ordinary.” Another netizen, ujunwa opined: “Testimony go yapa on sunday.”
