Odumeru Ameerah, a determined nursing student, has made an extraordinary comeback after battling cancer and deferring her studies for four semesters. Despite these challenges, she returned to school, completed her program, and graduated with a first-class degree in Nursing.
Her perseverance did not stop there. Ameerah went on to take the Nursing Professional Examination, where she emerged as the best candidate, earning recognition as one of the top performers nationwide.
It was gathered that she had been diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in March 2022, while still a student at Lagos state university (LASU).
