Kano Governor Reaffirms Loyalty to Kwankwaso

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has dismissed reports suggesting a rift between him and his political mentor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, describing such claims as baseless and mischievous.

Speaking during a gathering of top members of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Governor Yusuf said his relationship with Kwankwaso remains solid and built on mutual respect, loyalty, and shared values of service and integrity.

He described the NNPP presidential candidate in the 2023 election as a visionary and selfless leader dedicated to the progress of Kano State and Nigeria.

“God has blessed us with a God-fearing and selfless leader in Senator Kwankwaso, a man who genuinely loves the people of Kano and works tirelessly for their progress and development,” Yusuf stated.

The governor reaffirmed his commitment to advancing Kano’s development agenda in line with the Kwankwasiyya principles of service, accountability, and empowerment.

In his remarks, Senator Kwankwaso expressed appreciation to NNPP National Chairman, Dr. Ajuji Ahmed, party leaders from over 30 states, and loyal supporters for their continued dedication and unity.

He urged members of the NNPP and the Kwankwasiyya Movement nationwide to remain steadfast and committed to strengthening the party’s structures and ensuring its long-term success.
