Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has warmed hearts with a touching video showing the moment he surprised his son, Montel, at his workplace in the United States of America.
In 2023, when Montel gained admission to an American university, Kanayo publicly prayed for his son to remain grounded, avoid distractions such as tattoos, and stay true to his upbringing.
The actor has since continued to show pride in his son’s progress abroad.
The surprise moment
In a video shared on Instagram, Kanayo was seen walking into Montel’s workplace in Maryland, catching his son completely off guard.
The emotional moment showed Montel visibly shocked before reaching out to hug his father, while his coworkers looked on in admiration.
Kanayo expressed joy in his caption, writing:
“I paid a surprise visit to my son, Montel @sincerelymontel, at his workplace in Maryland. We hadn’t seen in about a year, and the rest is history. THE BOY IS GOOD. Thank you for the hug, boy.”
