JUST IN: Fayose Vows to Join Forces With Olubadan, Others Against Makinde in 2027 [VIDEO]

Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has openly declared that he will be working against Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Fayose made the strong remarks during a Channels Television interview on Monday.

The former governor accused Makinde of weakening and destabilising the structure of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South-West.

He also alleged that the Oyo governor has taken over political influence that does not belong to him, describing the situation as a betrayal of trust within the party.

Speaking further, Fayose used a Yoruba proverb to drive home his point, suggesting that political “lands” he believes were taken unjustly would eventually be reclaimed. He insisted that there would be a political pushback against Makinde in the next election cycle.

In his words, he said:
“In the coming elections, we will work against Seyi Makinde, he has taken the lands that belong to the gods” 2027

He went further to claim that he would not be alone in the political battle, stating that several key figures would align against the governor. Among those he mentioned was the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, alongside others he described as political opponents of Makinde.
