Josiah Bell, the ex-husband of Hollywood actress Jurnee Smollett, reportedly demands 50% of her retirement funds.
This comes after Smollett paid Bell nearly $1 million as part of their divorce settlement in 2021.
Their divorce stemmed from irreconcilable differences after nearly a decade of marriage.
Recall that Jurnee Smollett and Josiah Bell tied the knot on October 24, 2010, in a beautiful ceremony at the Los Angeles Botanical Garden.
The intimate wedding was surrounded by close family and friends, with her pastor father-in-law officiating the ceremony.
According to reports, Josiah Bell’s demands include a share of Jurnee Smollett’s retirement funds, such as her 401(k) and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) pension.
