Jaiz Bank Plc has announced the appointment of Mr. Tukur Galadima as its Chief Compliance Officer, following the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
In a press release dated December 11, 2025, the non-interest bank said the appointment took effect from December 1, 2025, in line with the Nigerian Exchange Limited Rulebook requirements for market disclosures.
Mr. Galadima is a legal professional with over 20 years of experience spanning regulatory compliance, financial law, governance, and public sector regulation.
He holds both a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Law from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Prior to joining Jaiz Bank, Mr. Galadima built an extensive career at the Central Bank of Nigeria, where he served in several managerial roles and rose to the position of Assistant Director before resigning in 2024.
His experience covers regulatory oversight, compliance frameworks, and institutional governance across Nigeria’s financial system.
Following his exit from the apex bank, he was engaged in private legal practice as Principal Partner at Cloud and Stones Legal Practice before his appointment to Jaiz Bank.
Jaiz Bank said the appointment strengthens its senior management team and reinforces its commitment to robust compliance, governance standards, and regulatory alignment.
