“It shall not be well with you” – Iyabo Ojo blasts critics, shuts down arrest rumours

Veteran Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has strongly dismissed viral reports claiming she was arrested by the Nigerian police.

Taking to her TikTok live, the actress expressed deep frustration over the rumour, describing it as fake, misleading, and intentionally crafted to cause panic among her fans.

In a fiery address, Iyabo called out those spreading the misinformation, saying their actions were harmful and unnecessary.

“To you all rumour mongers that spread fake news about me, it shall not be well with you. Who did they arrest? Your fake news always makes my fans worried, and they start calling to check on me, she said.”

Iyabo accused the creators of the false report of fabricating stories solely to generate traffic and make money, while issuing stern warning. to those responsible.

“You are heaping curses on your head because I am a special being. Anyone that wishes me bad, it will go back to the sender.”

The controversy comes amid ongoing legal battles with VeryDarkMan, who has been re-arraigned over cyberbullying allegations against Iyabo, Tonto Dikeh, and others.

Iyabo claims he has been creating false stories online to attract attention. She also clarified rumours linking her to a WhatsApp group formed after the death of singer Mohbad, which VeryDarkMan described as secretive.

Iyabo explained the group’s purpose was to seek justice for Mohbad, including efforts to investigate his death, exhume his body for autopsy, and ensure a proper burial.

Insisting on transparency, Iyabo stated that her role in legal petitions has always been as a witness, not someone instigating criminal proceedings.
