Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, has congratulated Zuma FM, Suleja, the first private radio station in Niger State on its 20th anniversary.
The Minister in a statement he personally signed noted that, “This milestone is not only a celebration of your remarkable journey but also a testament to the power of vision, consistency, and community service.”
His statement reads in full: “I warmly congratulate Zuma 88.5 FM, Suleja, on its 20th anniversary and the 9th edition of the Zuma Agricultural Harvest Festival. This milestone is not only a celebration of your remarkable journey but also a testament to the power of vision, consistency, and community service.
“As the first private radio station in Niger State, Zuma FM has played a historic role in deepening access to information, amplifying rural voices, and advancing agricultural communication in ways that continue to shape livelihoods across the North. Your commitment to social impact and rural development represents the very essence of responsible broadcasting.
“I commend the management, staff, and partners who have sustained this legacy for two decades. Your work aligns strongly with our national efforts to build a more informed, united, and progressive Nigeria.
“Congratulations once again on this landmark celebration. I look forward to joining you for this historic occasion,” the statement concluded.
