Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare sparks controversy after revealing she introduced her 17-year-old daughter, Simisola, to clubbing and alcohol.
The actress made this disclosure in an interview with Mr. Lilgaga.

During the interview, Laide Bakare stated that ages 17 and 18 are formative years where individuals are exposed to life’s realities.
Speaking about her daughter’s first experience, the actress stated, ‘I’m the first person that will bring her to a club. That was her first club experience ever. I love the fact that in her memory, she will say my very first clubbing and alcoholic drink was from my mum”.
Furthermore, the actress addressed the buzz about her daughter’s body physique, emphasizing, “She’s 17 now, that’s just how we are in our family; even me, I’m 44″.
This follows after Laide Bakare marked her Simi’s graduation from high school in Canada at age 16, achieving an impressive 4.80 GPA.
Additionally, Laide Bakare opened up about her love life, revealing she doubts about ever falling in love.
“I doubt if I can fall in love.Money and love together. That combo must be complete. I’ve been broke I’ve been down and I came back again “, She stated.
