Pastor Chris Okafor, Senior Pastor of Mountain of Liberation and Miracles Ministries, has warned that men and women who fail to discipline their sexual desires will continue to face repeated problems.
According to the clergyman, uncontrolled desire is the reason many men fall repeatedly, regardless of their marital status or religious position.
Quoting the Bible during a sermon, Pastor Chris Okafor reminded the congregation that beauty is deceptive. He challenged men who are quick to admire beauty without considering character.
“You say she is beautiful, but what about her character?” “You say he is handsome, but what about his altar?” he said.
He explained that being married does not automatically make a man disciplined.
Whether married or unmarried, a man without self-control will still chase women everywhere, on planes, in malls, even women who simply ask for help.
The most disturbing part, he said, is that some men bring the same behaviour into the house of God, chasing women even in church.
According to Pastor Chris Okafor, the problem is not temptation but a lack of discipline.
The sermon has sparked mixed reactions on social media, while some praised him, others questioned if he was really preaching what he practices.
Recently, Pastor Chris Okafor has been involved in a marriage betrayal allegation levelled against him by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, among other disturbing claims.
